The Moonlandingz -- aka Lias and Saul of Fat White Family, plus Eccentronic Research Council -- released their debut album, Interplanetary Class Classics, today (3/24). While wallowing in much the same filth as FWF, the vibe here is more "if we're in the gutter, we might as well dance." This is a fun, energized record and is buoyed by appearances from Yoko Ono and The Human League's Phil Oakey ("This Cities Undone"), and Rebecca Lucy Taylor of Slow Club ("The Strangle of Anna"). (Yoko's son Sean co-produced the album with the band.) Need a soundtrack for your end-of-the-world party? This might be it. Listen to the whole thing below.

You can catch The Moonlandingz in NYC at Rough Trade on May 11 (tickets) which is still their only scheduled North American date.
