The Moonlandingz share "The Strangle of Anna" video ft. Rebecca of Slow Club

The Moonlandingz — aka Lias and Saul of Fat White Family plus Eccentronic Research Council — have shared the video for current single “The Strangle of Anna,” which is a duet with Rebecca Lucy Taylor of Slow Club. The video, featuring Rebecca and Lias, plays out like the seediest birthday party you’ve ever not wanted to go to, with a passive-aggressive, highly dysfunctional couple who’ve gone totally unhinged. It was directed by Dawn Shadforth — who made Kylie Minogue’s “Can’t get you out of my head” and videos for Moloko, Primal Scream and others — and you can watch it below.

The group’s debut album, Interplanetary Class Classics, is out this Friday (March 24) and also features Phil Oakey of Human League, Yoko Ono, and Randy “Cowboy” Jones of The Village People. They’ll play NYC’s Rough Trade on May 11 (tickets). That remains their only announced North American show, but all dates are listed below.
