Chef, writer, travel show host and social activist Anthony Bourdain sadly passed away at the age of 61. Bourdain was a great lover and champion of music, and many in the music world have taken to social media to pay tribute to him, including Iggy Pop, Laura Jane Grace of Against Me!, Geoff Rickly of Thursday, Carl Newman of The New Pornographers, Queens of the Stone Age, El-P, Zola Jesus, The Blow, Amy Millan of Stars, John Lurie, RJD2, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Dave Hause, Jimmy Eat World, Alex Kapranos of Franz Ferdinand, Anton Newcombe of The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Mark Lanegan, Polyvinyl Records, Alex Skolnick, Phantogram, Kevin Morby, Jeff Rosenstock, How to Dress Well, Marky Ramone, Tegan & Sara, and Questlove.

Meanwhile, CNN will air a Remembering Anthony Bourdain special tonight, June 8, at 10 PM and again on Sunday (6/10) at 10 PM, and they'll air episodes of Parts Unknown on Saturday, June 9.
