The National donating online proceeds to ACLU, Planned Parenthood, more

Count The National as one of many artists that are donating to various civil liberties causes in the wake of Donald Trump’s election. They announced today that all proceeds from their online store (dating back to Black Friday) will be donated to Planned Parenthood, the ACLU, the Southern Poverty Law Center, and Democracy Now!.

The National, and frontman Matt Berninger in particular, were outspoken supporters of Hillary Clinton in the halcyon days before the election. You can buy sweet National gear for a good cause here. Might make a good holiday gift.
