The Ocean Blue reissuing their three Sire Records LPs on vinyl, playing the first two in full on November tour (dates)
Having released a new album in 2013, The Ocean Blue did some digging in the past in 2015. Their three albums for Sire Records — 1989’s self-titled debut, 1991’s Cerulean and 1993’s Beneath the Rythm and Sound — will be reissued on vinyl by Shelflife Records in November. Pre-orders are available. Videos from all three albums are below.
To celebrate, The Ocean Blue will be playing their debut and Cerulean in full on a short tour, including a date at NYC at Mercury Lounge on November 19. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (10/2) at noon with an AmEx presale starting Wednesday (9/30) at noon. Tour dates are listed below.
