The Original Misfits (Danzig included) announce LA show
Last year, original Misfits members Glenn Danzig, Jerry Only and Doyle reunited (with ex-Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo on the kit) for the first time since 1983. Their only shows were Riot Fest Denver and Riot Fest Chicago. It appears that reunion is not over yet, as the Misfits will play The Forum in LA on December 30. They’re saying it’s their only date of 2017, and special guests are TBA.
Tickets go on sale Friday (8/25) with a presale starting Tuesday (8/22) at 12:30 PM.
Meanwhile, Danzig is playing Danzig III: How the Gods Kill in full at Riot Fest Chicago 2017, and touring with Corrosion of Conformity before that, including Long Island and New Jersey shows.
Doyle is also touring with GWAR this year, including a NYC show on Halloween.
No word if the Misfits will again be backed by Dave Lombardo, who has been busy this year with his band Dead Cross (who also play the upcoming Riot Fest).
