The People of Afropunk 2019 (pictures)

The 2019 edition of Afropunk Brooklyn took over Commodore Barry Park over the weekend (August 24-25). We already talked about the festival's music, which included sets from Jill Scott, GoldLink, Leon Bridges, J.I.D., Gary Clark Jr., Tierra Whack, Leikeli47, Ravyn Lenae, Rico Nasty, Kari Faux, Junglepussy, Kelsey Lu, and more (special guests included) on Saturday, and FKA twigs, Death Grips, Brittany Howard, Danny Brown, Santigold, Lianne La Havas, H09909, Toro Y Moi and more on Sunday. Another highlight of Afropunk each year is seeing attendees flaunt their wild, colorful, no-holds-barred personal style, so we sent a photographer to document the well-dressed people of this year's festival.
