The Raconteurs announce 2019 tour, played first show in 8 years
Jack White and Brendan Benson's band The Raconteurs recently announced their first album in over a decade, Help Us Stranger (due 6/21 via Third Man Records), and now they have announced an extensive headlining North American tour. It surrounds their appearance at Woodstock 50 and other festivals.
The tour kicks off in their hometown of Detroit, and also includes shows at LA's Greek Theatre, two nights at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, Brooklyn's Kings Theatre on September 7, NYC's The Hammerstein at Manhattan Center on September 6, and more. Tickets for all dates go on sale Friday (4/12) at 10 AM local, and there's a Vault member presale starting Tuesday (4/9) at 10 AM local. This will be Jack White's third time at Kings Theatre in less than a year; he did two nights there as a solo artist this past November.
The Raconteurs just played for the first time in eight years at Third Man Records' 10th anniversary show, and they made the live debuts of recent singles "Sunday Driver" and "Now That You're Gone," plus they debuted Help Us Stranger songs "Bored & Razed" and "Help Me Stranger" for the very first time.
