The Revolution hit NYC over the weekend for their first of three shows in the area, celebrating the music of their former boss and bandleader, Prince. They played B.B. King Blues Club on Friday night (4/28) and pictures from the show are in this post. Their set included many Revolution-era Prince favorites, with special guest and fellow Minnesotan Stokley Williams of Mint Condition joining them for a few songs. A picture of the B.B King's setlist is below.

The band's tour returns to the NYC area at  Webster Hall on May 3 (tickets) and Port Chester, NY’s Capitol Theatre on May 4 (tickets).
