The Sadies released 'Internal Sounds,' playing shows (dates & LP stream)
The Sadies at POP Montreal 2012 (more by Dominick Mastrangelo)
Toronto alt-country vets The Sadies released the followup to 2010’s Darker Circles with Internal Sounds earlier this fall via Yep Roc. Rolling Stone gave the album 3.5/5 stars and wrote:
“We are the blessing and the curse,” head Sadie Dallas Good sings on “The Very Beginning,” but most of this band’s 16(!)-album output has been a blessing. The Sadies have, with less fanfare than they deserve, been one of the most surefire alt-country acts for nearly 20 years, collaborating with Neko Case, Jon Langford and Andre Williams.
You can stream the album in full (via Exclaim) below.
The band are doing a few shows in Canada and the Northeast US this month, including a Brooklyn stop on December 12 at Union Hall with Ribeye Brothers. Tickets for that show are on sale now.
