The Scientists announce new EP & North American tour

Australian punk and proto-grunge cult heroes The Scientists, who formed back in 1981, released a new single and toured the U.S. for the first time in 2018. They’ve got a new EP on the way, titled 9H20.SiO2, which will be out later this year via In The Red, and have just announced a return to North America. The tour kicks off April 10 in Chicago and also hits Cleveland, Detroit, Brooklyn, Philly, Durham, Atlanta, New Orleans, Los Angeles and finally Oakland, CA for the 2019 Burger Boogaloo.

There are two Brooklyn shows: April 15 at Brooklyn Bazaar and April 16 at Saint Vitus. Tickets for BK Bazaar go on sale Friday, January 25 at noon, and Saint Vitus will be on sale soon.

There are a few shows still to be announced but all known dates are listed, along with streams of their 2018 single and self-titled “Pink” album, below.
