The Spinto Band reissuing debut LP on vinyl w/ bonus disc of rarities (listen to "Tractor"), playing Brooklyn & Philly
Delaware indie pop outfit The Spinto Band are reissuing their charming debut album, Nice and Nicely Done, on June 16 via Bar-None. It’s a double vinyl set with the original album on the first disc, and a 12-track collection of b-sides and rarities on the the second disc. We’ve got the premiere of one of those bonus cuts, “Tractor,” which has them goofing on hard rock tropes. Listen to that, and the original Nice and Nicely Done (which featured such mid-’00s staples as “Oh Mandy” and “Crack the Whip,” below.
The Spinto Band will celebrate the release of the reissue with a couple shows: Philadelphia’s Boot and Saddle on July 14; and Brooklyn’s Rough Trade on July 29 with Chris Cubetta, and Shapes in Calgary. Tickets for the Philly and Brooklyn shows go on sale Friday, May 12 at noon.
