Wilmington, Delaware's Spinto Band are indie survivors. Having formed int the mid-'90s under the seemed-funny-at-the-time moniker Free Beer, the band switched to the current name at the dawn of the '00s and saw some success with 2005's terrific Nice and Nicely Done. The band have continued to put out charming album after charming album, with little regard to trends and public taste. Thiers is a classic pop style.

The Spinto Band just released Cool Cocoon which came out on their own Spintonic imprint. You can download album-opener "Shake it Off" above and stream the whole album below (via Spotify). They've also made some pretty great videos over the years, including "What I Love" from Cool Cocoon which you can watch below too.

The Spinto Band are going on a short run of East Coast dates, including a stop in NYC on February 22 at Mercury Lounge with openers ARMS and Brazos. Tickets are still available. All tour dates are listed below.
