The Strokes are releasing a new album this year and while there hasn't been any official news on that front, the band have just announced three big North American shows, all of which are with Alvvays: Vancouver's Rogers Arena on March 5, Seattle's WAMU Theatre on March 9, and Los Angeles' The Forum on March 14 which is also with King Princess.

Tickets for those three shows go on sale Friday, January 31 with presales starting Tuesday (1/28) at 10 AM local time with code MOSCOW1972. Could that presale password hint at the new album or single title? As Fabio Moretti told us, we'll find out "soon enough."

The Strokes, who played Brooklyn's Barclays Center on New Year's Eve, also have a few festival dates announced, like III Points in Miami and Shaky Knees in Atlanta. All are listed below.
