The great Swedish folk singer Kristian Matsson, aka The Tallest Man on Earth, performed a collaborative set with NYC ensemble yMusic at the 2015 edition of Justin Vernon and Aaron Dessner's Eaux Claires Music Festival. Now, they've decided to release a collaborative EP together too. It features new arrangements of Tallest Man songs by yMusic's CJ Camerieri and Rob Moose. (Both Camerieri and Moose have played with The National and Sufjan Stevens, and Moose is a former member of Bon Iver.) The EP will be out digitally and as a limited-edition 10" this Friday (7/21).

Tallest Man and yMusic will also play another collaborative show together at Brooklyn's Pioneer Works on September 21. Tickets go on sale Wednesday (7/19) at noon.
