Hutch Harris, frontman of the now-defunct Thermals, recently played a solo show and launched a new Twitter account that appeared to be advertising a solo career, and today he released his debut solo album, Only Water. Melodically, it's similar to The Thermals' indie-punk, but it's softer and more singer/songwriter-oriented and what you might expect from the solo debut of a longtime punk frontman. Stream it below.

Meanwhile, Hutch's former Thermals bandmates Kathy Foster and Westin Glass are busy with Hurry Up, and Kathy is also in Roseblood and Slang.
