Julian Casablancas' other band, The Voidz, have shared a new single, "The Eternal Tao." Last year's Virtue proved The Voidz could sound like anything, but this takes that idea even further. The song was produced by Mac DeMarco and Kirin J. Callinan and is a full-on dance track, with a rolling bass line, Euro-house synths and Julian's vocodered-out singing. You can listen to that below.

It's a busy weekend for Julian in NYC as both The Voidz and The Strokes play Governors Ball this weekend (Friday and Sunday respectively), and The Voidz play a sold-out GovBall After Dark show tonight at Market Hotel. Meanwhile, his label, Cult Records, is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a pop-up shop at 98 Orchard which opened yesterday and continues today with DJ sets from members of Public Access TV, The Virgins, Cults, Minty Boi, Gnarcissists, Cerebral Ballzy and more. The pop-up is open from noon-8 PM and flyer for today's line-up is below.
