Long-running LA-psych band The Warlocks have just wrapped up recording their sixth album -- and first since 2009's The Mirror Explodes -- which should see release in fall of this year. The group, who've released albums or Bomp! and Mute, now reside on Teepee which is also home to The Brian Jonestown Massacre. The Warlocks, at one point, had a couple ex-BJM in their line-up but I'm not sure if they're still rocking the two-drummer megagroup they did in the mid '00s.

The Warlocks are at SXSW this and will return to Texas' state capital for Austin Psych Fest next month. Around that time, the band will hit the East Coast as well, with a stop in NYC at Mercury Lounge on April 23. Tickets for that are currently on AmEx presale with the regular on-sale happening Friday (3/15) at noon. All tour dates are listed, along with a Spotify stream of 2002's great The Pheonix Album, are below.
