The Weather Station (aka Toronto’s Tamara Lindeman) will release a new self-titled album on October 6 via Paradise of Bachelors/Outside Music. On this record, she's branching out from the folk of her previous albums. "I wanted to make a rock and roll record," Lindeman says, “but one that sounded how I wanted it to sound, which of course is nothing like rock and roll." You can check out first single, "Thirty," which Lindeman describes as "a song about joy at the precipice of despair," below.

You can catch the Weather Station in NYC on July 26 at Union Pool, which is with Australia's Julia Jacklin, Marlon Williams, and Joshua Hedley, and tickets are on sale. She'll be on tour this fall, which includes another Brooklyn Show at Rough Trade on November 28. Tickets for the Rough Trade show are on AmEx presale now with the public on-sale starting Friday, July 21 at noon.

You can catch Julia Jacklin on tour this fall too. All The Weather Station dates are listed, along with the album art and tracklist, below.
