Just one day before he's set to co-headline new Queens festival The Meadows, The Weeknd has announced he is not playing:

"due to the new curfew changes and scheduling I can no longer perform at meadows. New York I'll make it up to you."

We did hear something about last minute forced curfew changes for the fest (which just released its set times this week), but this would be less weird if the Weeknd didn't ALREADY CANCEL and then UNCANCEL just two weeks ago with a new 5:30pm set time that was supposedly related to his appearance on SNL this weekend. The fest just released this statement:

The Weeknd has been forced to cancel his set at The Meadows due to scheduling conflicts. We look forward a great day tomorrow with performances from J. Cole, Empire of the Sun, Pretty Lights, Grimes, Chromeo, Sylvan Esso, Post Malone, Savages, and many many more. See you tomorrow for day one of the inaugural The Meadows Music and Arts Festival.

The fest begins on noon on Saturday and you can see the set times HERE.
