The Wonder Years are releasing a new seven-song EP with acoustic versions of their songs, including fan favorites like "There, There" and "Cardinals." It's called Burst & Decay and it comes out on September 22. You can pre-order it at the band's webstore, and pre-orders come with an instant download of "There, There," which has backing vocals by Laura Stevenson (listen below). The band also announced an acoustic tour of intimate venues, with support from Laura Stevenson, as well as The Obsessives and Jetty Bones.

The tour includes a NYC show on October 8 at Le Poisson Rouge, which is a very small place to see The Wonder Years in New York (even if it is an acoustic show). Tickets are on sale now. All dates are listed below.

The band's last album, 2015's No Closer to Heaven, was one of our favorites of that year. Last year, singer Dan Campbell focused on his solo project Aaron West & the Roaring Twenties.

Laura Stevenson is also on tour now with Jeff Rosenstock.
