The Wonder Years played Playstation Theater w/ Tigers Jaw, Tiny Moving Parts, Worriers (pics, setlist)

The Wonder Years began their tour with Tigers Jaw, Tiny Moving Parts and Worriers last week, and hit NYC on Saturday (5/5) at Playstation Theater. They’re supporting their excellent new album Sister Cities, which is their biggest departure from their pop punk roots yet, and has both their heaviest music and their lightest music yet. They played a good chunk of that album, but also didn’t shy away from older faves like “Cardinals,” “Cigarettes & Saints,” “There, There,” “Passing Through A Screen Door,” “Came Out Swinging,” and more. In the encore, they did two songs acoustic. Pictures of the show are in the gallery above (though unfortunately we missed Worriers) and TWY’s setlist is below.
