The xx expand tour, add 2nd Forest Hills show (BrooklynVegan presale); Sampha opening

The xx recently released their third album I See You, and they’ll be touring in support of it for several months this year.

The tour already included a NYC show on May 19 at Forest Hills Stadium, but that show is now sold out and the band added a second one happening the next night (5/20) at the same venue. Tickets for the newly-added show go on sale Friday (2/3) at 10 AM, with a BrooklynVegan presale starting Thursday (2/2) at 10 AM. Check back here Thursday morning for the password. Artist presale begins Tuesday (1/31) for fans on The xx’s email list.

Sampha, who have a split with The xx, will open both Forest Hills shows, and the post-Coachella dates preceding them.. He’s also got headlining dates, including Terminal 5 on February 9 with Mal Devisa (tickets). Kelela will also open four of The xx’s shows in May.

The xx are also playing a bunch of festivals, like Coachella, Shaky Knees, Bonnaroo, and Boston Calling. Updated dates are listed below.
