The Zombies celebrating ‘Odessey & Oracle’ book at Strand before tour
The Zombies will soon be on their Oddessey & Oracle tour, which hits NYC's Town Hall on March 25 and tickets are still available. You can check out all tour dates, and a stream of the album, below.
The album will celebrate its 50th anniversary next year, and a commemorative book, The "Odessey": The Zombies, will be released later this year, featuring rare and unseen photos, original artwork and an oral history with original band members Rod Argent, Colin Blunstone, Chris White, and Hugh Grundy. Terry Quirk, who did the original Odessey & Oracle artwork, did the cover for the book which you can see above. Brian Wilson, Nate Ruess, Clive Davis, Carlos Santana, and Susanna Hoffs contributed stories and reflections to the book, and Tom Petty wrote the foreward.
Right before the start of their tour, The Zombies will appear at a NYC book release / signing event happening at The Strand's Rare Book Room on March 15. Tickets are on sale now.
