They Might Be Giants share “By the Time You Get This” video, announce tour
Tony nominees They Might Be Giants have shared the video for "By the Time You Get This," which is off their new album, I Like Fun. Working from the cataclysmic themes of the lyrics, director Alex Italics gives us an end-of-the-world thriller in two minutes, complete with meteors, a plague of insects and black goo. Watch that below.
John Flansburgh and John Linnell will take TMBG on the road this fall, including a NYC show at Terminal 5 on October 27. Tickets for that show go on AmEx presale today at 10 AM with the general on-sale beginning Friday, May 4 at noon. TMBG also play Hudson, NY's Clearwater Festival on July 16.
