Thin Lips share new song, playing NYC with Hurry before Modern Baseball/Joyce Manor tour
Philly’s Thin Lips have released another song off their upcoming debut album, Riff Hard. It’s called “My Mouth Is Skinned Like An Apple” and it’s another crunchy, melodic tune that toes the line between pop punk and indie rock. Listen below. Riff Hard is due out May 20 via Lame-O.
As you may know, Thin Lips are touring with Modern Baseball and Joyce Manor, landing them in NYC on June 24 & 25 at Irving Plaza (tickets). Before that, they’ll play a smaller headlining show here on May 19 at Shea Stadium with Lame-O labelmates Hurry (who also have a new album coming), plus Nervous Dater. Tickets for that show are on sale now.
