Thom Yorke has just announced solo dates taking place this December, shortly before his headlining appearance at Houston's Day For Night festival (tickets). He'll be playing two California shows, the first at LA's Fonda Theatre on December 12, and then at Oakland's Fox Theater on December 14. For both shows, Yorke will be joined by longtime collaborator and Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, and audiovisual artist Tarik Barri. The three notably collaborated for an Atoms for Peace-related show at NYC's Le Poisson Rouge back in 2013.

In addition, Yorke has announced the reissue of his 2014 solo record, Tomorrow's Modern Boxes, via XL Recordings on December 8. He also recently reworked Radiohead's "Bloom" with Hans Zimmer for the BBC series Blue Planet II. You can hear the reworked song, in a clip taken from the series, and watch footage from Yorke and Godrich's 2013 LPR show, below.

Meanwhile, Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood will be performing his 2015 side project Junun alongside collaborators Shye Ben Tzur and The Rajasthan Express later this week, at London's Southbank Centre on October 4 as part of the venue's 2017 Indian Independence Gala. Tickets are still on sale.
