Thou and HIRS playing matinee at Saint Vitus during Screaming Females tour

Shredding NJ punks Screaming Females are supporting their new album All At Once as we speak on tour with sludge metal greats Thou and grind/queercore collective HIRS. That tour hits Brooklyn for a sold-out show at Market Hotel on Friday (4/6) followed by a sold-out Connecticut show at Space Ballroom on Saturday (4/7), and before they leave town for that CT show, Thou and HIRS will play a Saturday matinee at Saint Vitus in Brooklyn. Thou have been talking about a followup to 2014's great Heathen but no concrete details yet. HIRS are releasing their first full-length album, Friends. Lovers. Favorites., on April 20 via Get Better/SRA, and it features contributions from Screaming Females singer Marissa Paternoster, as well as Garbage’s Shirley Manson, Against Me!’s Laura Jane Grace, Limp Wrist/Los Crudos’ Martin Crudo, G.L.O.S.S.’s Sadie Switchblade, Soul Glo’s Pierce, RVIVR’s Erica Freas, The Bags’ Alice Bag, and more.
