Thou playing shows in Dec/Jan

Prolific Baton Rouge sludge maestros Thou had promised that they wouldn't be playing many shows in late 2016/early 2017, instead taking time to write and record after a relatively quiet 2016. They've got just two on their schedule at the moment, one in New Orleans and one in NYC.

The NYC show happens at Saint Vitus on January 6. Tickets for that are on sale now.

Thou's last release was their 2015 collaborative album with The Body, and their last non-collab LP was 2014's Heathen. Listen to that:
