Threes Brewing debuting Day of the Dead IPA in Brooklyn tonight; Bonnie 'Prince' Billy covering the Dead on CBS This Morning
The massive 59-song, five and a half hour Dessner-curated Grateful Dead tribute album is out today (stream it and read our track-by-track breakdown), and tonight (5/20) there will be another party celebrating its release in Brooklyn. It goes from 7-10:30 PM at Threes Brewing, and excitingly, it will feature the official launch and first taste of Threes’ very own Day of the Dead IPA. More info here.
In related news, Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy, who’s on the album three times, will perform one of his contributions, “If I Had the World to Give,” on CBS This Morning Saturday morning (7 AM through 9 AM EST). Set your alarms! (Or DVRs.)
