Thursday at The Paramount

Thursday, PUP & Frank Iero @ Paramount & Starland (pics, videos, setlists)

Like they did last year (and before breaking up), Thursday celebrated the holidays with a short run of Northeast shows, including one in their home state of NJ at Starland Ballroom. They played Starland on 12/30 and also did another tristate area show at Long Island’s Paramount two days earlier (12/28), joined at all shows by PUP and Frank Iero. Pictures of The Paramount show are in the gallery above.

The setlists (both of which you can see below) were similar at both shows, and both included the timely “Jet Black New Year” in the encore. They also did classics like “Cross Out the Eyes,” “Autobiography of a Nation,” “For the Workforce, Drowning,” “Division St,” and “Understanding In A Car Crash” at both shows, plus “Fast to the End” and “Turnpike Divides” off their latest album, 2011’s No Devolución (they also did “No Answers” from that album at Starland). Setlists from both shows and videos from the Paramount show, below.

Thursday are heading to Australia with Quicksand in March, and they’re promising many more 2018 tour dates. After that, they say they’re only doing more shows “in the event of new music.” Let’s hope that happens!
