Tim Heidecker announces new album & summer comedy/music tour, shares "Buddy"

Tim Heidecker has announced a new album, High School, that will be out June 24 on Spacebomb Recordings. The album was produced by Heidecker, Drew Erickson (Lana Del Rey, Father John Misty), Eric D. Johnson (Bonny Light Horseman, Fruit Bats) and Mac DeMarco, and Kurt Vile plays on one song, too.

The first single from High School is “Buddy,” a poignant portrait of teenage stoners and what may have made them they way they were. You can watch the video below.

Tim has also announced an extensive summer tour that will combine comedy (his “No More Bullshit” persona) and music with his Very Good Band. This will be his first-ever tour with a band. That tour wraps up at Brooklyn’s The Bell House on August 24.

Tim and The Very Good Band make their NYC debut this week with shows at Bowery Ballroom on Thursday (sold out) and Music Hall of Williamsburg on Saturday (tickets).
