Titus Andronicus have been having a busy year, with the release of their ballad-heavy A Productive Cough, and lots of "acoustic" touring (main member Patrick Stickles with pianist Alex Molini). They already wrapped up their North American run of the acoustic tour and they're hitting UK/EU in late summer, but first they play a couple full-band shows in their hometown area: Long Beach, NY's Junction on August 3 with Acid Dad (tickets) and The Bouncing Souls' Stoked for the Summer show at Stone Pony Summer Stage on August 4 with Against Me!, Smoking Popes and Tim Barry (tickets).

Even sooner than that, they've got a unique events happening at Brooklyn's Rough Trade on June 14. The venue will screen the documentary on the making of A Productive Cough, followed by a Q&A with Patrick Stickles, the film's director Ray Concepcion, and rock writer Michael Azerrad (Our Band Could Be Your Life, Come as You Are: The Story of Nirvana, etc). It's free and all ages, and it starts at 7 PM. More info here.
