AMI2’s annual Libera Awards ceremony goes down at NYC’s Playstation Theater on June 21 and this year’s performers are Aimee Mann, The Dap-Kings (who will be joined by Lee Fields and pay tribute to the late Sharon Jones and Charles Bradley), Sam Outlaw, Funky 4 + 1 and Raul Midon (tickets).

In addition to playing Pitchfork’s Northside showcase, Philly noise punks Empath have a NYC show on July 11 at Trans-Pecos (tickets).

Speaking of Northside, Double Double Whammy announced a Northside day party (co-presented with GRLMIC and Terrorbird) happening at Baby’s All Right on June 9 with Sidney Gish, Free Cake For Every Creature, Orion Sun, Yowler, GABI and Michelle Blades (tickets). Sidney Gish also opens part of the Camp Cope/Petal tour, including the Asbury Park and NYC shows.
