Today is the Day

Today is the Day going on 'Temple of the Morning Star' tour with Kayo Dot

Noisecore greats Today is the Day recently reissued 1997’s classic Temple Of The Morning Star for its 20th anniversary, and now they’ve announced a tour to celebrate the anniversary as well. Opening on all dates is the genre-defying Kayo Dot.

The tour begins in Brooklyn on June 6 at Saint Vitus (tickets) and also includes a Trenton, NJ show on July 9 at Championship Bar. All dates are listed below.

Today Is the Day recently played Rough Trade NYC on Record Store Day and frontman Steve Austin also has an upcoming album and release show with the ambient project BardSpec (aka Steve and Enslaved guitarist Ivar Bjørnson). There’s also a new documentary on Steve Austin.

Kayo Dot frontman Toby Driver recently released a solo album.
