Todd Rundgren announces hybrid book/concert tour
Todd Rundgren will be heading out on what they’re calling “the world’s first hybrid concert/book tour” this spring. It’s based around his autobiography, The Individualist (out 12/21), where Todd looks back at his life and music up through his 50th birthday. The concert setlist will mirror that time period as well, from his beginnings in the ’60s though 1996, with Todd telling stories about the songs and his career. Todd will be playing two nights in each city of the tour — “a show so amazing it takes two days to get it done” says the tour promo — kicking off in Atlanta on April 1, and also hitting DC, NYC, Boston, Chicago, Toronto, Philly, Cleveland, L.A., and San Francisco. He’ll do book signings at each stop as well.
The NYC shows are at Town Hall on April 16 & 17 and tickets for the whole tour go on sale Monday, December 10 at 10 AM local time, with Citi cardmember presales starting Tuesday, December 4 at 10 AM local time.
Todd is also a 2019 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominee. All tour dates are listed below.
