BOBBY, who once included members of Mountain Man and who haven't been active in a few years, are disbanded for good but members Maia Friedman and Martin Zimmermann formed a new band, Toebow. The lineup also includes Jo-Anne Hyun of Zula, and others. Maia actually isn't in Toebow anymore, but she did sing on the band's debut EP, including lead single "Starfucker," which premieres in this post. It's a nice dose of shapeshifting, complex art pop that fans of My Brightest Diamond, Sufjan Stevens, and TV on the Radio might dig. Check it out below.

The EP was produced by D. James Goodwin, and it drops on April 6 (pre-order). The following day, the Brooklyn band will play a hometown area show at Ridgewood's Trans-Pecos (4/7) with Balún and Floam.
