While TV sets were airing David Byrne & St. Vincent on the Colbert Report, Tom Tom Club teamed with HITS for a show last night at Brooklyn Bowl (11/1), a one-off date for the ex-Talking Heads rhythm section and married couple whose new EP, Downtown Rockers, is out now.

Tina Weymouth and Chris Frantz, who have weathered a lot as NYers over the last 35 years or so, lead the crowd through Tom Tom Club favorites (including megahit "Genius of Love" and "Wordy Rappinghood") and even did a couple Talking Heads songs ("Psycho Killer" and Al Green's "Take Me to the River" which the Heads did on More Songs About Buildings and Food). More pics from Brooklyn Bowl, where Big Freedia also played since Sandy, are below, including one of the setlist.
