too many people showed up to see SZA at The Box; she says cops shut down 2nd show
SZA's rise to fame continues, and last night (10/10) she came to NYC for a last-minute, VERY SMALL 250-capacity show at The Box. She tweeted out that doors are at 6 PM and "all ya gotta do is show up," so, needless to say, it was a shit show. The block was PACKED with fans before the show started, and SZA tweeted a video of the madness (that you can see below) and wrote, "AHHH!! YALL MAGICAL AS FUCK! THIS VENUE SMALL AF AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD TRIPPIN BUT I SWEAR TO GOD IMMA GIVE YALL A BIGGER FREE SHOW ASAP!!" She also tweeted that she was initially planning to do two shows to allow more people to see her last night, but that the police shut them down to just one show.
The one show that did happen looked pretty wild, and it included a guest appearance from SZA's "Love Galore" partner Travis Scott. Watch videos of Travis' appearance and more of the madness below.
