Tori Amos shares "Reindeer King," debuts it live in Poland (listen)

Tori Amos releases Native Invader, her fifteenth studio album and one of our most anticipated indie rock albums of fall 2017, in a couple of weeks. So far we’ve heard “Cloud Riders” and “Up the Creek” from the album, and now Tori has shared a third track, album opener “Reindeer King,” which you can listen to below. “Reindeer King” is the closest thing to vintage Under the Pink-era Tori we’ve heard from this album yet, a seven minute long piano epic full of wintery natural imagery.

Tori debuted “Reindeer King,” and played “Purple People,” “Roosterspur Bridge,” and “1000 Oceans” on Trójka – Program 3 Polskiego Radia in Warsaw, Poland on Thursday (8/24); you can listen to that set via their site.

Tori’s international tour in support of Native Invader begins early in September. She makes her way to North America late in October, including two nights at NYC’s Beacon Theatre on November 7 and 8 (tickets)

For more on Tori Amos, Torres recently listed five essential Tori songs for WFUV, and St. Vincent and Thomas Bartlett suggested they become Tori when they get together; see that instagram below.
