In September, Tori Amos is releasing her fifteenth album Native Invader and embarking on a world tour that includes two shows at NYC’s Beacon Theatre in November (tickets).

Tori will be in Brooklyn before all that, though, for Pitchfork’s “In Sight Out” series, “which covers new perspectives in music, art, and culture.” Tori will be in conversation with Pitchfork’s Jillian Mapes at the event, which takes place on August 8 at the Murmrr Theatre. Doors are at 6 PM and the event starts at 7:30. Tickets are $10 and on sale now.
