Grungy folk singer Torres recently wrapped up a tour with Lady Lamb (which didn’t hit NYC, but it did hit Austin, as pictured above), and later this year, she’ll head out as a support act on Okkervil River‘s tour. She’s not listed as an opener for Okkervil River’s previously discussed NYC show at Terminal 5 on 9/26 (Black Joe Lewis and Pickwick are though), but she opens many of the surrounding dates and is set to play her own NYC show the day before that at Glasslands (9/25). Tickets for the Glasslands show are on sale now. All Torres dates are listed below.
Since we last spoke, Okkervil River expanded their tour to include many more dates, and announced that the tour is in support of a new album, The Silver Gymnasium, which is due out on September 3 via ATO. Updated dates are listed, along with streams of two tracks from that album, below.
