After being dropped by 4AD in 2018 after releasing her third album (and first for the label), Three Futures, Mackenzie Scott, aka Torres, has a new label home and new music on the way. She’s signed to Merge Records and will be releasing a new album with them in 2020. “I feel like I’ve lived an entire lifetime in the three years since recording Three Futures,” Mackenzie says. “This new record documents the significant fruits, for better or worse, of some terrifically delusional pursuits.”

While we wait for the new album, there are a few chances to catch Torres live, including this month’s Julien Baker-curated edition of Sled Island, MRG30, the 30th anniversary festival for Merge Records, in July, and Pop Montreal in September. See all of her upcoming dates below.

Torres: 2019 Tour
Jun 19 Calgary, AB – Sled Island
Jul 26 Carrboro, NC – MRG30
Sep 28 Montreal, QC – Pop Montreal
