Touche Amore's last full length studio album, Stage Four, came out in 2016, but they've been anything but idle since. In 2018, they shared their first new music since Stage Four, "Green," played their thousandth show, and released a live album recorded at it.

Vocalist Jeremy Bolm shared a playlist of his favorite songs of the year on Spotify, including songs from recent tourmates Turnstile and Culture Abuse, previous 6131 Records labelmate Julien Baker's (who has also sang with Touche Amore onstage) project boygenius, as well as mewithoutYou, Joyce Manor, John Prine, Daughters, Converge, Pianos Become the Teeth, Hop Along, Nothing, Gouge Away and more.
