ALICE PHOEBE LOU

Based out of Berlin, South African singer-songwriter Alice Phoebe Lou will release her new album Paper Castles in March and will be touring North America around the same time, kicking things off in Toronto on March 3, and wrapping things up in Seattle on March 25. In between her tour brings her to Austin for SXSW and Brooklyn’s Rough Trade on 3/8, among other stops. All dates are here.

THE BETHS

New Zealand’s The Beths, who just released a new holiday 7″, will be heading back to North America to tour around SXSW 2019, bringing Bad Bad Hats with them.

COLIN BLUNSTONE

Colin Blunstone spends a lot of his time on stage with Rod Argent and the rest of the current Zombies lineup, but he’ll be on a short Northeast solo tour in early 2019 before more Zombies dates later in the year.

PYLON REENACTMENT SOCIETY

The Pylon Reenactment Society, which features original Pylon singer Vanessa Briscoe Hay and a group of musicians culled from Athens, GA’s current indie scene, just released a new single and will be touring the West Coast in December. They’ve also added a January Brooklyn show to their schedule.

HIGH ON FIRE

After needing to cancel dates this year due to Matt Pike needing a partial toe amputation, High on Fire have now announced a 2019 tour.

FREESTYLE AND OLD SCHOOL EXTRAVAGANZA AT RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL

Billed as a “’90s Throwback Jam,” The Freestyle and Old School Extravaganza brings Lisa Lisa, Bobby Brown, TKA, George Lamond, Kevin Lyttle, Nice & Smooth, Judy Torres, Rob Base, Cece Peniston, The Cover Girls, Lisette Melendez, David Torres and others to Radio City Music Hall on February 9. Tickets are on sale now.
