ARCHERS OF LOAF
Working on their first album in 20 years, indie rock greats Archers of Loaf are also touring this spring and have just announced new Southwest dates in this spring, hitting St Louis, Lawrence (KS), Omaha, Denver, Dallas, Austin, Houston, in addition to previously announced shows in Philly and Baltimore. They've also got dates in Carrboro and Atlanta this month, March dates in Woodstock and Boston. Head here for all dates.
KERO KERO BONITO
Kero Kero Bonito are playing Fort Worth, TX's Fortress Festival in April and have scheduled a South/Southwest tour around it, playing Norman (OK), Athens, Gainsville, Tampa, Miami, and Orlando. All dates are listed here.
PUSS N BOOTS
Puss N Boots, the twangy trio of Norah Jones, Sasha Dobson, and Catherine Popper, will release their new album Sister next week (2/14) and will celebrate with NYC shows at Rough Trade (2/14) and Bowery Ballroom (2/15). They've also got a few Southern dates lined up for April on their way to the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, including shows in Macon (GA), Pelham (TN), and Birmingham (AL). The Feelies don't so much tour as plan weekend jaunts in one part of the U.S., usually the East Coast. They've announced two Pennsylvania shows for May: Lancaster on 5/8 and Philly on 5/9. They are always worth seeing.
EOB (ED O'BRIEN OF RADIOHEAD)
Radiohead guitarist Ed O'Brien just announced, Earth, his debut solo album under the name EOB and he's in North America this week for a few shows: tonight in Toronto, plus Chicago on Saturday, NYC on Monday, then Los Angeles on Thursday. He'll be back in the US this summer for Bonnaroo and Newport Folk Fest, and will hopefully add more dates around it.
Lady Lamb has added more dates to her "with strings" US tour, including a second NYC show.
