AMERICA
'70s soft rock stars America, known for hits "A Horse With No Name," "Sister Golden Hair" and "Ventura Highway," are celebrating their 50th anniversary with a world tour. Dates kick off Friday in Brookville, NY, include a stop at NJ's Bergen PAC on Sunday, and currently run through June 27 in Bethesda, MD. Head here for all dates.
JAMES BLAKE
James Blake has been in the news lately for coming to the defense of his girlfriend, The Good Place actress Jameela Jamil, amidst the controversy surrounding her mental health, and he also has some new touring plans too.
RANCID / DROPKICK MURPHYS
Rancid and Dropkick Murphys have announced the ‘Boston to Berkeley II’ tour, the sequel to their similar 2017 tour. This one will also feature Scottish singer/songwriter Gerry Cinnamon (who the Murphys recently covered and who has yet to tour the US) and Dorcester, MA’s Jesse Ahern (who’s on tour with the Murphys in Europe as we speak). Like last time, each show will end with both Rancid and Dropkick Murphys on stage for a joint encore.
NILE
Death metal vets Nile are gearing up for another extensive trek in support of last year’s Vile Nilotic Rites.
LITHICS (DATES WITH BIKINI KILL, MDOU MOCTAR)
Portland's wiry postpunk trio Lithics will be playing a few West Coast dates in April with Mdou Moctar, including stops in San Francisco, Oakland, LA and more. Before that, they'll open for Bikini Kill at Portland's Crystal Ballroom in April. All dates are here and listen to their most recent album, Mating Surfaces, below.
KOJEY RADICAL / KAMAUU
UK rapper Kojey Radical, who released Cashmere Tears last year, is now in the midst of his first North American tour, with support from Brooklyn Afro-funk artist KAMAUU.
SLIPKNOT
In addition to their upcoming Knotfest Roadshow tour, Slipknot are now also throwing the first-ever Knotfest At Sea cruise from August 10-14. It sets sail from Barcelona and heads to Naples, and it features Slipknot headlining plus Anthrax, Behemoth, Higher Power, Ho99o9, and more.
TENNIS / MOLLY BURCH
Indie pop duo Tennis have expanded their 2020 tour with Molly Burch, and additional dates include a second night at NYC's Brooklyn Steel on April 27 (the 4/28 show is sold out). All dates are here.
NECK OF THE WOODS
Vancouver progressive death metallers Neck of the Woods are releasing their sophomore album The Annex Of Ire, on March 20 and will be touring after their appearance at SXSW.
LAS NUBES
Miami lo-fi punks Las Nubes are gearing up to release a split EP with likeminded Miami band Palomino Blond and will be on a short tour of their home state in March.
SCOOBY-DOO
The best kids shows are the ones that adults like too (sorry, Paw Patrol), so then it’s exciting for cool parents that much loved counterculture icon Scooby-Doo is heading out on tour in a new musical show called Scooby-Doo! and The Lost City of Gold. The North American theater tour — which kicks off in March in Canada — is hitting many well-known live music venues, including Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Fox Theater in Atlanta, and lots of other places worthy of a legend like Scooby.
