BROKEN SOCIAL SCENE

Broken Social Scene have been touring in support of their new EP, Let’s Try the After, and dates include two shows in May at the soon-to-reopen Webster Hall. Make that three, they’ve just added a show on 5/18 (5/16 and 5/17 are sold out.) Other dates include two-night stints in Toronto, Montreal, Seattle and Los Angeles. All dates are here.

FACS

Having just released their terrific, heavy and very dark new album Lifelike (listen below), Chicago trio FACS will be on tour later this spring. Dates kick off May 31 in McKees Rocks, PA and they’ll play DC, Baltimore, Philly, NYC (Saint Vitus on June 4), the Boston area, Montreal, Toronto and Detroit. Head here for all dates.

JOANNA NEWSOM

Joanna Newsom, who took some time off the road and the studio to have a kid, is back, having just announced a short US tour, including three-night stints in Chicago and NYC, as well as single shows in Philadelphia and Milwaukee.

CORINNE BAILEY RAE

UK singer-songwriter Corinne Bailey Rae will be back in the US this summer to play a handful of dates around her appearance at the Newport Jazz Festival: July 20 in Chicago; July 30 in Washington, DC; July 31 in Philadelphia; and August 3 in Ridgefield, CT. She does have other international dates — all are here.

DEHD

Chicago trio Dehd will be on tour in support of their debut album, Water, which is out May 10 via Fire Talk. That tour starts with a record release day show in Chicago, and also includes stops in Detroit, Toronto, Montreal, NYC (5/17 @ Union Pool), Philly, Baltimore, DC, Columbus, El Paso, Tucson and more. CARDI B

Having just announced headlining slots at NYC-area fest Summer Jam and Philly fest Made In America, Cardi B has now announced two Upstate NY shows with Teyana Taylor and City Girls, and the shows are rumored to be part of Cardi’s upcoming Femme It Forward Tour. SHLOHMO

LA producer Shlohmo’s new album The End is out now, and he announced a tour supporting it including a stop at Brooklyn’s Elsewhere on 6/15. All dates here. He has a new video out too:

SUNN O)))

Sunn O))) have expanded their tour in support of their anticipated new album Life Metal. A second Chicago show was added after the first sold out, a Pittsburgh show was added, and an album listening party is happening April 13 at Future Space in Brooklyn (RSVP). FRANK IERO

Former My Chemical Romance guitarist Frank Iero has expanded his tour, adding a new home state NJ show happening at Asbury Lanes on June 28. All dates (including a previously announced Rocks Off Cruise in NYC) here.

PINK SWEAT$

Fast-rising R&B singer Pink Sweat$ is hitting the road, including a NYC show at Webster Hall on June 11. All dates here. Stream his new EP:

XPONENTIAL FESTIVAL (FULL LINEUP)

WXPN’s XPoNential Festival, which takes place in Camden, NJ on July 26-28, has announced the full lineup for this year’s edition. It includes Elvis Costello and Blondie (who are touring together), St. Paul & The Broken Bones, JS Ondara, Y La Bamba and more on 7/27; and Guster, Amy Ray Band (Indigo Girls), Lucy Dacus and more. That’s, in addition to previously announced 7/26 acts Japanese Breakfast, Dawes, Nilufer Yanya and Betty LaVette. Full lineup is here.
