ERYKAH BADU

Neo-soul great Erykah Badu has a few shows coming up at the moment, including a West Coast run the week between Christmas and New Year’s, and East Coast shows in February. The East Coast shows include Miami’s iii Points festival, an Atlantic City show at Boardwalk Hall on 2/16 (tickets on sale 11/7 at 10 AM), and more. All dates here.

HR OF BAD BRAINS

Bad Brains frontman HR has East Coast dates coming up in November and December, including a Florida run with The Dollyrots and a NYC show on 11/29 at Max Fish. More info on that show here and all dates here.

IDLES

UK punks IDLES had already announced a few 2019 North American dates, including NYC and DC, and they’ve now announced the full tour. Dates, which are with Ireland’s Fontaines D.C., include stops in L.A., San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Austin, Dallas, Cleveland, Raleigh, NC and more. Between now and then IDLES also have dates in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, the UK and more. Check out their full 2018/2019 tour schedule here.

PAINT (PEDRUM OF ALLAH LAS)

Allah-Las member Pedrum Siadatian just released a solo album as PAINT which gives off eccentric psych vibes (Julian Cope, Syd Barrett). Stream it below. He’s getting ready to head to the UK and Europe for a tour but will stop in NYC to play Berlin on 11/16 with a DJ set from Allah-Las-affiliated Reverberation Radio. All dates are here.

WILLIAM TYLER (W/ TY SEGALL)

William Tyler just announced his new solo album, Goes West, which will be out in January via Merge. This week he’s wrapping up dates with Ty Segall, including Burlington, VT, Portland, ME, Hamden, CT and concluding with Brooklyn’s Warsaw on Friday (11/9). Head here for all dates.

DEVOTCHKA

DeVotchKa, who released new LP This Night Falls Forever back in August, have tour dates coming up later this fall, including a short East Coast run in December. Those begin at Brooklyn’s Elsewhere Hall on December 8 and they then head to Somerville, MA, Washington DC and Philly. They’ve also got two Colorado shows this month just ahead of dates in the UK/EU. All dates are here. Watch the video for “Empty Vessels” off the new LP below.

THIRD EYE BLIND

In what was a pretty unexpected move, ’90s mallternative rockers Third Eye Blind covered Bon Iver’s “Blood Bank” earlier this year. They now released a video for that cover and also announced small club shows happening in LA and NYC this January. They’re playing LA’s Roxy Theatre on 1/14, Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg on 1/16, and Manhattan’s Bowery Ballroom on 1/17, and they’re promising to debut new songs. More info here.

DOWNTOWN BOYS

Downtown Boys are opening part of Mitski’s tour, including three of her four sold-out Brooklyn Steel shows (which also have SASAMI on the bill), and right before those shows, Downtown Boys will play a benefit and zine launch for The New York Abortion Access Fund and Shout Your Abortion Brooklyn’s new zine at Brooklyn’s Market Hotel on 11/30 with Choked Up, Material Support, and Ohyung. MITSKI

Not only does Mitski’s tour end with four sold-out Brooklyn Steel shows in late November/early December, but she also plays a fifth NYC show for The Ally Coalition two days later (12/5) at NYC’s Town Hall with Lana Del Rey, Regina Spektor, and more. It also recently revealed that Mitski’s fourth Brooklyn Steel show will be opened by ambient artist Arooj Aftab, whose new album Siren Islands you can stream here:

PUSHA T

Pusha T’s ‘Daytona Tour Part 2’ with Phony Ppl includes two shows at NYC’s Irving Plaza in late November, and Pusha T added a third NYC show happening after that: the BAPE 25th anniversary show at Hulu Theater at MSG on 12/6 with Kid Cudi, Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean, and more. SPICE GIRLS

First talk of a reunion tour circulated, then Posh Spice (Victoria Beckham) shot down the rumors, and now Spice Girls have officially announced dates for a 2019 reunion tour (without Posh). All currently announced dates are in the UK.

OZZY OSBOURNE / MEGADETH

Ozzy Osbourne is fully recovered from his recent surgery, and set to return to the stage at an LA edition of Ozzfest on New Year’s Eve. He also now announced a lengthy North American tour with Megadeth for 2019, including MSG and more.

ART GARFUNKEL

While his former bandmate Paul Simon has been getting loads of attention lately, Art Garfunkel has not retired and continues to tour. He’s just announced two nights at NYC’s City Winery on November 25 & 26 (tickets on sale soon). He’s also got upcoming shows at City Wineries in Boston and Chicago, plus dates in upstate NY, the DC area and more.

ROBYN

Not a tour just yet, but Robyn announced her first show of 2019, and it happens at NYC’s Madison Square Garden.

AMEN DUNES

Continuing to tour in support of this year’s acclaimed Freedom, Amen Dunes has announced a winter 2019 U.S. tour that goes coast-to-coast from San Francisco to Brooklyn.

KEVIN MORBY / SAM COHEN

Kevin Morby is moving up to bigger venues for his 2019 tour with Sam Cohen, including L.A.’s The Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles and NYC’s The Town Hall.

PETER HOOK & THE LIGHT

Former New Order bassist Peter Hook and his band The Light are still on their Substance tour, but have just announced fall 2019 North American dates where they’ll perform New Order’s Technique and Republic in full, along with “other songs from the era” (maybe Hook’s other projects Revenge or Monaco?) and an opening set of Joy Division classics.

MUSE

Muse announced a 2019 world tour which hits DC, Philly, Boston, Vegas, Sacramento, Oakland, Atlanta, Toronto, Montreal, and more. Before that tour, they have two NYC shows: the ALT 92.3 holiday show at Barclays Center with Florence + the Machine and Death Cab for Cutie, and an intimate iHeartRadio Theater show.

MINERAL

Emo vets Mineral reunited back in 2014, and now they released their first new song in 20 years and announced a 25th anniversary tour for 2019.

BIG UPS FAREWELL TOUR

Brooklyn band Big Ups are going on “indefinite hiatus” but not before one last East Coast tour.
