The following new tours were announced. Check the Tour Dates category every day for more.

ONE STEP CLOSER, ANXIOUS & HEART ATTACK MAN opening for KNUCKLE PUCK

Triple B labelmates and two of our favorite newer melodic hardcore bands, One Step Closer and Anxious, have been tapped to open pop punk band Knuckle Puck’s upcoming tour. Both released very promising EPs last year — From Me To You and Never Better — respectively, and if you haven’t checked those out yet, we highly recommend doing so and you can stream them both right at the end of this blurb. Also along for the ride is indie/emo band Heart Attack Man (who put out the solid Fake Blood on You Did This/Triple Crown last year). Some of the shows have already sold out, but if you’ve got tickets, you don’t wanna miss the openers on this one. All dates here.

HEILUNG

Metal-friendly Nordic dark folk band Heilung are beginning their first-ever North American tour tonight (1/9) in LA. After that, they’re hitting San Francisco, a sold-out Chicago show, two sold-out NYC shows, and more. More info here and updated dates here.

FOR YOUR HEALTH / GILLIAN CARTER

Rising screamo band For Your Health had a very busy 2019 that included the release of their Nosebleeds EP and their Shin Guard split Death of Spring (which we included among our list of 12 great screamo releases from 2019), and they’re staying busy in 2020. First up is this January/February tour, which begins with two shows with hyped emo bands Origami Angel and Short Fictions, and then includes a run with the great, longer-running screamo band Gillian Carter. All dates here.

CITY MORGUE

As mentioned, horror/punk/rap duo City Morgue are touring this year. After selling out their hometown NYC show happening March 26 at Gramercy Theatre, they’ve now added a late show happening that same night. Tickets go on sale Friday (1/10) at 10 AM. All dates here. YVES TUMOR

Yves Tumor has announced a tour, and they’re promising to play songs from 2018’s great Safe In The Hands of Love and preview new music.

SEBADOH with VERSUS, FLOWER & more

Sebadoh announced a tour with support varying by date, including shows with fellow veteran indie bands Versus and Flower.

FRANCES QUINLAN (of HOP ALONG)

Hop Along’s Frances Quinlan added a Brooklyn release show to her tour, and she’s also displaying artwork at gallery pop-ups in NYC and LA.

DRIVE-BY TRUCKERS

Drive-By Truckers expanded their tour, adding a Brooklyn in-store.
